Teesside Power Fund

The Teesside Power Fund was established in 1994 following the construction of Teesside Power Station and is administered through the Tees Valley Foundation.

Its purpose is to make grants to organisations in the nine council wards nearest to the plant: Eston, Dormanstown, Kirkleatham, Teesville, Newcomen, Coatham, Grangetown, South Bank and Normanby.

  • Applications are welcome from registered charities or community groups within the nine wards or which benefit people who live in those wards.
  • Grants of up to £5000 in any 12-month period are available to enable local people to launch or run initiatives to benefit their local community.
  • Teesside Power Fund meetings are held quarterly.
