You may be the occupier or owner of a site to which gas or electricity is supplied by GDF SUEZ Energy UK, but you may not have or ever had a formal contract with GDF SUEZ Energy UK for this supply. In these circumstances you will be deemed to have contracted with GDF SUEZ Energy UK.
Gas Deemed Contract Rates
The Gas Act 1986 (paragraph 8, Schedule 2B) requires us to set out these deemed contract scheme arrangements.
Gas Deemed Supply Contract Terms and Conditions
The rates which apply to gas consumed under all such deemed contracts are set out below.

Deemed contract rates apply to consumers who do not have a contract with us.
Expired Formal Supply Contracts
Where you have had a formal contract with GDF SUEZ Energy UK but this has expired and you continue to consume past the end date, the original terms of your supply contract shall apply, except that from the date your contract terminated you shall be charged the Default Contract Rates below.

Default contract rates apply to customers whose contract has expired and not been renewed.
